Colour. Joy. Life
These are the words that come back to me when I think of the first time I saw Harshvardhan Kadam aka Inkbrushnme’s mural on the Church Street side of the M.G Road metro station.
Church Street may be a filthy smelly street where your senses are constantly bombarded with the vile smell of urine, but oddly enough it is sort of my happy place. Home to Bangalore’s loveliest book stores and all the bars I frequented after long hours at my first job, Church Street is where I go on lazy Sundays when I have no agenda (and also where I go when I need to get shit done, hello epic wi-fi at Starbucks) So to have a mural as happy as this one to look at every time I walk down the road make me happy
I hope you get the chance to visit it soon! If you’ve noticed all the street art across the city thanks to Start India leave me a comment below telling me which one’s your favourite!
Until next time,
